Strange Little Obsessions is an immersive creative event celebrating horror, alternative culture, and the independent artists, makers, and storytellers drawn to the darker edges of creativity.
Designed with intention rather than scale, the event prioritises atmosphere, accessibility, and meaningful connection.
This isn’t a loud convention packed wall-to-wall.
It’s a curated experience where horror fans, artists, collectors and curious minds can explore, discover and connect without the overwhelm.

Hi, I’m Janine, a life-long horror fan and independent reviewer of major studio releases, indie features and shorts in the genre.
As Graeae Horror, I’ve supported a growing number of filmmakers and film festivals to spread the word about exciting new projects and films to an ever-growing audience across various social media platforms.
In addition to my own channels, written reviews have been published on popular websites and are soon to be featured in film festival zines. In addition, I’ve recently delved into the world of interviewing and am having some wonderful conversations with some exceptionally creative people.
I’m committed to building a strong, friendly and safe community with wonderful fans of the horror genre, as well as supporting filmmaking on every level.

From gothic fashion and handmade jewellery to horror art, books, oddities and design, the event celebrates the creativity of the independent horror and alternative community.

Step into character and showcase your creation in our horror and alternative cosplay competition.
With multiple categories and sponsor prizes, it’s one of the most exciting and creative moments of the weekend.
Whether competing or spectating, the stage will be open for the beautifully strange.

The venue allows us to create an immersive atmosphere while keeping the event comfortable and easy to navigate.
Parking available on site for £5 per day.
