Strange Little Obsessions is built through community, collaboration and a shared belief that independent events can do things differently.
We’re proud to work with businesses, creatives and organisations who support our commitment to accessible, welcoming and independent horror and alternative events.

Feature Partner – Growth Development Foundation
We’re proud to welcome Angie Simmons and the Growth Development Foundation as a Feature Partner for Strange Little Obsessions.
Angie is a holistic wellbeing guide and author of a year-long, neuroscience-backed journal. Through journaling, mindset work and grounded self-inquiry, she helps people build awareness, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with who they truly are.
Her work explores both the light and shadow within us — something that resonates deeply with creative and alternative communities who aren’t afraid to look beneath the surface.
Through her courses, workshops and journal, Angie supports people in understanding themselves more deeply and moving forward with greater clarity, confidence and self-trust.
You’ll be able to meet Angie at the event, take part in her workshop, and explore her work in person.

Our PR Partner
Their support helps bring the stories of our guests, creators and community to media outlets and audiences beyond the event itself, helping grow and celebrate independent horror and alternative creativity.
Hi, I’m Janine, a life-long horror fan and independent reviewer of major studio releases, indie features and shorts in the genre.
As Graeae Horror, I’ve supported a growing number of filmmakers and film festivals to spread the word about exciting new projects and films to an ever-growing audience across various social media platforms.
In addition to my own channels, written reviews have been published on popular websites and are soon to be featured in film festival zines. In addition, I’ve recently delved into the world of interviewing and am having some wonderful conversations with some exceptionally creative people.
I’m committed to building a strong, friendly and safe community with wonderful fans of the horror genre, as well as supporting filmmaking on every level.
