A collaboration between Strange Little Obsessions and Graeae Horror.
Shared Sight Film Festival is a curated showcase of independent horror cinema, created to spotlight bold storytelling, fresh voices, and the strange, unsettling corners of the genre that deserve to be seen on screen.
The program features a selection of 30 shorts and two features which will be screening across the weekend and cover a variety of sub genres in horror, from sci-fi to found footage, animation to psychological, queer horror to horror comedy.
This is not an endless schedule of films running in the background. We’ve curated an experience where you can choose to enjoy every film available, without worrying about competing screenings, in a space to enjoy the art of independent filmmakers in a relaxed way.
Shared Sight Film Festival Director Janine from Graeae Horror will be in attendance across the weekend. She’ll be introducing each block of films which will feature filmmaker introductions to their work. Some will be pre-recorded, and some in person!
And if that’s not enough, we will also have a filmmaker hub. Located outside the screening room, this will be a place for you to meet the filmmakers and ask about their creative journeys. If you’re an aspiring filmmaker, want to learn about independent shorts and features, how pre-production, production or post-production works, or simply want to delve further into the stories shown on screen, this will be the perfect place for you.
Below you will find a look at the screenings available, and an overview of each film we’re showcasing across the weekend. The Shared Sight Film Festival is open to any Strange Little Obsessions ticket holder at no extra cost. Simply follow the link provided to book your seat for any screening.
Please note, we have limited capacity for the screening room, so once the seats are gone they’re gone! Screenings are available to ticket holders aged 18 years and over. ID may be required to confirm proof of age on admission to the event.
