Strange Little Obsessions is a curated, inclusive event. Accessibility is not an afterthought or a box-ticking exercise. We are committed to creating a space where attendees can enjoy the event in a way that feels safe, respectful, and manageable for them.
If you have access needs not covered below, please contact us. We will always try to help.

Venue Accessibility
The event takes place at Crowne Plaza Nottingham, which offers:
• Step-free access throughout public areas
• Accessible toilets
• On-site staff available for assistance
If you have specific mobility requirements or need assistance navigating the venue, please let us know in advance.
Quiet Space
We understand that busy, noisy environments can be overwhelming.
A designated quiet space will be available throughout the event for attendees who need a break from sensory stimulation. This space is intended for rest and regulation and will be clearly signposted.
Sensory Considerations
Strange Little Obsessions is a horror and alternative culture event, which may include:
• Dark or atmospheric lighting
• Music or amplified sound
• Crowded areas at peak times
We aim to manage sound levels responsibly and avoid unnecessary sensory overload where possible. If you have specific sensory concerns, please contact us ahead of the event.
Queues, Panels & Photo Ops
We aim to keep queues moving and spaces comfortable.
If you need:
• Priority access
• A seated option for panels
• Extra time or flexibility during photo ops or signings
Please speak to a member of staff or contact us in advance so arrangements can be made.
Communication & Support
Our team and volunteers will be briefed on accessibility awareness and will be clearly identifiable during the event.
If you need help at any point, please ask. You do not need to explain or justify your needs.
