Trader Space
For artists, makers, and creators with something a little different to share.
Strange Little Obsessions is a curated event celebrating horror, alternative art, and dark creativity. Our trader space is designed for independent artists, makers, and small businesses whose work feels intentional, original, and aligned with the atmosphere we’re building.
If your work lives somewhere between beautiful and unsettling, you’ll feel at home here.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from traders working in areas including (but not limited to):
- Horror and alternative art
- Illustration, prints, and original artwork
- Handmade goods and curios
- Jewellery, accessories, and wearable art
- Home décor, oddities, and collectibles
- Books, zines, and written work
- Dark, gothic, or alternative brands
Original work is strongly preferred. This is a space for creativity, not mass-produced imports.
A Curated Space
Strange Little Obsessions is carefully curated to ensure a balanced, high-quality experience for both traders and attendees.
This means:
- Not all applications may be accepted
- Similar products may be limited
- Quality, originality, and fit matter more than quantity
Curation isn’t about gatekeeping. It’s about creating a space that feels considered and worth exploring.
Trader Stalls & Setup
Full details on stall sizes, pricing, and setup times will be shared when applications open.
We aim to:
- Keep layouts clear and accessible
- Avoid overcrowding
- Create a calm, browse-friendly environment
Accessibility and comfort are priorities, for traders and attendees alike.
Who This Is For
This trader space is ideal for:
- Independent creatives and small businesses
- Artists and makers who value atmosphere as much as sales
- Traders looking for an engaged, respectful audience
If your work relies on shouting to be noticed, this may not be the right fit.
If it draws people in quietly, it probably is.
